Practice Nurse
The Practice Nurses carry out many of the screening checks, including cervical smears, immunisations, chronic disease reviews, ear syringing, assisting with minor surgery procedures, and general health advice. Nurse Beynon is also a nurse prescriber and is able to treat minor ailments.
Midwife
A Midwife visits the practice on a weekly basis.
Paramedic Practitioner
Our paramedic practitioner works alongside our On-Call GP each day and is trained to assess and treat a wide range of emergency medical problems. For housebound patients she is also able to undertake home visits for emergency medical problems.
Phlebotomist
The Phlebotomist is available Monday – Friday mornings for taking blood samples that the doctors have requested. She does not deal with any other queries regarding your health. Primarily this service is for patients that are unable to access the Blood Clinic at Noble’s Hospital.
Our Practice Team
Miss Julie Taylor
Practice ManagerJulie Taylor manages all business aspects of the practice including finance, patient safety, premises and equipment, human resources and information technology. The Practice Manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals to ensure delivery of high quality patient services.
Receptionists
The Receptionists are there to help you – they are your initial link with the doctor or nurse. As there are only so many appointments available during any one clinic session, please be patient and remember that they have a very difficult job; they have to please both you and the doctors! They are trained to ask information from patients and are fully aware of the need to keep information confidential. Please cooperate with them if they ask you for details of your illness or problem.
